Effective date: July 30, 2026
Lofi Loop is a static music-generation website operated by Andrew Hall and available at lofi.ahall.dev. This policy describes information handled when you use the site or contact its operator.
Requests to Lofi Loop may be processed by its first-party hosting, which uses a self-hosted Nginx server, and by Cloudflare for delivery and security. These services process ordinary web-request information needed to provide and protect the site, such as an IP address, requested URL, request time, and browser or network headers.
Cloudflare may apply email-address obfuscation and configure browser Network Error Logging. Network Error Logging can cause a browser to send a report about an eligible network failure; it does not necessarily send a report in every session.
The Nginx origin keeps a combined access log and an error log for operation and security. These logs can contain the request information described above and technical error details. They are routinely rotated. Rotated log files remain part of the operational log set; they are not backups, and the log set is not backed up by the operator.
Apart from these operational logs and the browser-side audio cache described below, Lofi Loop does not keep a separate application database or other intentionally saved application data.
Source Code Pro font files are hosted by Lofi Loop, so font requests stay on the Lofi Loop origin. Requests for those files are handled by the first-party hosting and Cloudflare described above.
Lofi Loop uses browser Cache Storage to keep downloaded same-origin audio samples on your device so later playback can reuse them. The application does not use this cache for accounts or preferences. Clearing browser site data removes the cache.
The Lofi Loop application does not use cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB or a service worker. Cloudflare may use a cookie if it presents a security challenge; Lofi Loop does not use that cookie for analytics.
Lofi Loop does not use Plausible Analytics or another analytics service. It does not include advertising, user accounts, sales, or payment processing. Cloudflare’s delivery, security and network-error reporting described above are operational services, not site analytics used by the operator.
The privacy contact is Andrew Hall at [email protected]. If you email that address, the operator receives the address you use, your message, and anything you include. The operator uses your message to respond. Lofi Loop does not copy correspondence into a separate database, and the operator does not create separate backups of it. The email provider may retain messages according to mailbox and provider settings.
Cloudflare, the first-party hosting and the email provider process information for the purposes described above. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law.
You can remove locally cached audio by clearing site data in your browser. Depending on where you live, applicable law may also give you rights concerning personal information, which can include asking for access, correction or deletion. Requests may require identity verification and may be subject to legal exceptions. They will be handled according to applicable law. These privacy rights are separate from the licensing terms for music generated by Lofi Loop.
This policy may be revised when Lofi Loop’s practices change. The effective date above identifies this revision. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to the contact above.
